Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Swanville Bulldogs (Swanville, MN), 73-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Osakis upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Silverstreaks host Upsala (Upsala, MN) to play the Cardinals in a A Section 5 bout on Friday, January 19. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Upsala won 70-34 in their recent league bout against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (Long Prairie, MN)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Browerville Tigers (Browerville, MN) in a A Section 5 bout, on Friday, January 19. Swanville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 90-53 league win over St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN).
