The Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA), 68-27 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bulldogs (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Vidalia (Vidalia, GA). The Indians go into the AA Region 3 test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Vidalia walloped Appling County (Baxley, GA), 90-40, in a league test.

The Bears now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Brantley County for a AA Region 3 test on Friday, January 19. Pierce County will encounter a Herons squad coming off a 76-71 league win over Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA). The Herons record now stands at 11-6.
