The Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) basketball knocked off the host South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI), 58-44 in Tuesday's league test.
The Vikings (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Milford (Highland, MI). The Mavericks go into the Lakes Valley test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Milford notched a victory over Kettering (Waterford, MI), 56-33, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Walled Lake Western for a Lakes Valley contest on Friday, January 19. South Lyon East will battle a Warriors team coming off a 62-48 non-league loss to Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 2-9.
