Clovis West Golden Eagles (Fresno, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA), 73-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Clovis West upgrades its record to 19-2 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Clovis (Clovis, CA) to play the Cougars in a Tri-Rivers bout on Friday, January 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Clovis lost 52-51 in their recent league bout against Clovis East (Clovis, CA)

Next up, the Bears play the Clovis North Broncos (Fresno, CA) in a Tri-Rivers bout, on Friday, January 19. Buchanan will attempt to upgrade on its 14-8 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 65-28 league loss to Central (Fresno, CA).
