Clovis West Golden Eagles (Fresno, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA), 71-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Clovis West upgrades its record to 25-2 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Clovis (Clovis, CA) to play the Cougars in a Tri-Rivers bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 16-11. Clovis won 67-57 in their recent non-league bout against Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA)

Next up, the Bears play the Clovis North Broncos (Fresno, CA) in a Tri-Rivers bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Buchanan will attempt to upgrade on its 17-10 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 9-17 record after their 61-24 league loss to Central (Fresno, CA).
