Minnesota High School Basketball - Cannon Falls overwhelmed by Zumbrota-Mazeppa

The Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Cannon Falls Bombers to 30 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Island for a AA Section 1 contest on Friday, January 19. Zumbrota-Mazeppa will battle a Panthers team coming off a 81-23 non-league loss to Stewartville (Stewartville, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 6-9.
The Bombers (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against St. Charles (St. Charles, MN). The Fighting Saints come into the AA Section 1 contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, St. Charles was routed by Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN), 62-25, in a non-league contest.
