In Tuesday's league outing, the Central Lyon Lions (Rock Rapids, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA), by a count of 72-22.
The Lions (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Dutchmen go into the Siouxland outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, MOC-Floyd Valley smashed Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA), 55-37, in a league outing.
The Orabs now hold a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Okoboji for a Siouxland outing on Thursday, January 18. Sheldon will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 58-56 league win over West Lyon (Inwood, IA). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-11.
