The Dike-New Hartford Wolverines basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Columbus Sailors to 24 in the Wolverines league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aplington-Parkersburg for a North Iowa Cedar - East contest on Friday, January 19. Dike-New Hartford will battle a Falcons team coming off a 46-38 league win over Denver (Denver, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 11-2.

The Sailors (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Grundy Center triumphed over South Hardin (Eldora, IA), 28-26, in a league contest.
