The Dike-New Hartford Wolverines basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Columbus Sailors to 48 in the Wolverines league victory on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aplington-Parkersburg for a North Iowa Cedar - East contest on Tuesday, December 12. Dike-New Hartford will battle a Falcons team coming off a 60-55 league win over Hudson (Hudson, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 6-0.

The Sailors (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Oelwein (Oelwein, IA). The Huskies come into the North Iowa Cedar - East contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Oelwein prevailed over Union (La Porte City, IA), 55-49, in a league contest.
