With the victory, Crookston upgrades its record to 3-13 on the campaign. The Pirates host Barnesville (Barnesville, MN) to play the Trojans in a AA Section 8 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Barnesville lost 59-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN)

Next up, the Prowlers play the Roseau Rams (Roseau, MN) in a AA Section 8 challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Thief River Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 91-72 league loss to East Grand Forks (East Grand Forks, MN).
