The Thief River Falls Prowlers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Crookston Pirates to 40 in the Prowlers league triumph on Friday.
The Prowlers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roseau for a AA Section 8 contest on Tuesday, December 5. Thief River Falls will meet a Rams team coming off a 54-53 non-league loss to Goodridge/Grygla (Goodridge, MN). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.
The Pirates (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Red Lake Falls (Red Lake Falls, MN). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Red Lake Falls was defeated by Fertile-Beltrami (Fertile, MN), 54-49, in a league contest.
