The Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Kettering Captains (Waterford, MI), 46-12 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mavericks (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI). The Vikings go into the Lakes Valley test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Walled Lake Central walloped South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI), 58-44, in a league test.

The Captains now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Walled Lake Northern for a Lakes Valley test on Friday, January 19. Kettering will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 63-9 league win over Mott (Waterford, MI). The Knights record now stands at 5-4.
