The Milford Mavericks basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Kettering Captains to 17 in the Mavericks league victory on Tuesday.

The Mavericks now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walled Lake Western for a Lakes Valley contest on Friday, February 16. Milford will battle a Warriors team coming off a 37-34 league win over Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 4-11.

The Captains (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeland (White Lake, MI). The Eagles come into the Lakes Valley contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Lakeland triumphed over South Lyon (South Lyon, MI), 34-30, in a league contest.
