The Nimitz Vikings basketball team (Irving, TX), was overwhelmed 66-29 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX)

The Wildcats now possess a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richardson for a 6A Region I District 7 battle on Friday, January 19. Lake Highlands will confront a Eagles team coming off a 62-45 league loss to Highland Park (Dallas, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 17-12.

The Vikings (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against Pearce (Richardson, TX). The Mustangs come into the 6A Region I District 7 battle with a 13-12 record. In their last battle, Pearce trounced Berkner (Richardson, TX), 49-35, in a league battle.
