Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Nimitz Vikings (Irving, TX), 64-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Lake Highlands upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Wildcats host Richardson (Richardson, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 7 bout on Friday, December 15. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Richardson won 44-41 in their recent league bout against Highland Park (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Nimitz will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 53-26 league win over Berkner (Richardson, TX).
