The Nevada Union Miners basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Placer Hillmen to 38 in the Miners league triumph on Tuesday.

The Miners now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakmont for a contest on Thursday, January 18. Nevada Union will meet a Vikings team coming off a 59-39 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-14.
