The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) and the host Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME), observed Foxcroft Academy's basketball team knock off Bucksport by a score of 51-37.

The Ponies (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Houlton (Houlton, ME). The Shiretowners come into the B North challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Houlton was knocked off by Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME), 61-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Bucks encounter the Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME) in a B North challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Bucksport will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 58-41 league loss to Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME).
