Maine High School Basketball - Bucksport nips Foxcroft Academy

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Bucksport Golden Bucks basketball team scored a close 42-41 triumph over the Foxcroft Academy Ponies.
The Golden Bucks (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Caribou (Caribou, ME). The Vikings go into the B North contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Caribou nipped Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME), 65-28, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Ponies battle the Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. Foxcroft Academy will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 52-45 non-league win over Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME).
