The Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights basketball squad (Washington, DC), was nudged 62-57 in Thursday's league battle with the host Parkside Eagles (Washington, DC)
With the victory, Parkside advances its record to 9-7 on the year. The Eagles host St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC) to meet the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 8-2. St. Anselm's Abbey won 67-33 in their recent league battle against Washington International (Washington, DC)
The Knights now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Maryland Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. Friendship Collegiate Academy will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 76-71 league win over King's Christian Academy (Callaway, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-3.
