Parkside Eagles (Washington, DC) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights (Washington, DC), 70-65 in a league match.
With the victory, Parkside advances its record to 18-8 on the year. The Eagles host Takoma Academy (Takoma Park, MD) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 5. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 14-12. Takoma Academy won 73-54 in their recent league match against The Living Water School (Alexandria, VA)
The Knights now own a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host KIPP College Prep for a PCSAA AA match on Wednesday, February 5. Friendship Collegiate Academy will face a Panthers squad coming off a 54-34 non-league loss to Ballou (Washington, DC). The Panthers record now stands at 9-10.
