North Carolina High School Basketball - Starmount overwhelmed by South Stokes

The South Stokes Sauras bounced the host Starmount Rams basketball squad by a final score of 75-32 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the Sauras clash with the North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) in a 1A Northwest outing, on Friday, January 17. South Stokes will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Vikings come into the outing with a 10-4 record after their 77-67 league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC).

The Rams (1-14) will now prepare for their outing against Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Trojans come into the 1A Northwest outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Alleghany routed Elkin (Elkin, NC), 57-52, in a league outing.
