The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Clarke County Bulldogs (Grove Hill, AL) and the host Washington County Bulldogs (Chatom, AL), observed Clarke County's basketball team overwhelm Washington County by a margin of 50-27.

The Bulldogs (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Chickasaw (Chickasaw, AL). The Chieftains come into the 2A Area 1 challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Chickasaw was trounced by Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL), 56-28, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Blacksher Bulldogs (Uriah, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Washington County will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 64-34 league win over Central (Hayneville, AL).
