Clarke County Bulldogs (Grove Hill, AL) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Washington County Bulldogs (Chatom, AL), 62-42 in a league match.

With the victory, Clarke County advances its record to 10-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Chickasaw (Chickasaw, AL) to meet the Chieftains in a 2A Area 1 match on Friday, January 10. The Chieftains enter the match with a record of 1-3.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Luke's Episcopal for a 2A Area 1 match on Monday, January 13. Washington County will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 57-42 league loss to Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-11.
