The Maple River Eagles basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds to 35 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now possess a 11-16 record. They play next when they host Blue Earth for a AA Section 2 game on Friday, January 17.

With the loss, Wyndmere/Lidgerwood falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Warbirds travel to Sargent County (Milnor, ND) to confront the Bulldogs in a B District 1 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 8-5. Sargent County lost 52-41 in their recent non-league game against Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier (Edgeley, ND)
