The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Superior Central Cougars (Eben Junction, MI) and the visiting Stephenson Eagles (Stephenson, MI), observed Superior Central's basketball team edge Stephenson by a margin of 37-36.

The Cougars (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mid Peninsula (Rock, MI). The Wolverines come into the Skyline challenge with a 0-10 record. In their last challenge, Mid Peninsula was tipped by Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI), 71-20, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Munising Mustangs (Munising, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 20. Stephenson will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 58-35 non-league win over Newberry (Newberry, MI).
