In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Stephenson Eagles basketball team scored a big 56-15 triumph over the Superior Central Cougars.
The Eagles (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Norway (Norway, MI). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Norway smashed Rapid River (Rapid River, MI), 62-15, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars confront the Mid Peninsula Wolverines (Rock, MI) in a Skyline contest, on Tuesday, February 25. Superior Central will attempt to better on its 8-11 season record. The Wolverines go into the contest with a 0-17 record after their 51-21 league loss to North Central (Powers, MI).
