The Winhawks (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN). The Tigers go into the Big 9 contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Albert Lea edged Mayo (Rochester, MN), 6-2, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons play the La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Faribault will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Lancers go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Austin (Austin, MN).
