The Bear Grass Charter Bears basketball squad (Williamston, NC), lost 51-39 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC)
With the victory, Gates County advances its record to 1-7 on the year. The Red Barons host North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC) to meet the Husky in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Husky enter the battle with a record of 1-7.
The Bears now own a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ocracoke for a non-league battle on Friday, January 17.
