The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bear Grass Charter Bears (Williamston, NC) and the visiting Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC), observed Bear Grass Charter's basketball team knock off Gates County by a score of 56-47.
The Bears (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record.
