In Tuesday's league outing, the Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rider Raiders (Wichita Falls, TX), by a margin of 65-43.

The Bearcats (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Saginaw (Saginaw, TX). The Rough Riders go into the 5A Region I District 5 outing with a 10-13 record. In their last outing, Saginaw was trounced by Northwest (Justin, TX), 52-31, in a league outing.

The Raiders now own a 13-11 record. They play next when they host Brewer for a 5A Region I District 5 outing on Friday, January 20. Rider will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 50-28 league win over Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Bears record now stands at 22-3.
