The Rider Raiders basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Aledo Bearcats to 61 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now sport a 14-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brewer for a 5A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, February 14. Rider will battle a Bears team coming off a 43-37 league win over Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Bears record now stands at 28-3.

The Bearcats (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest (Justin, TX). The Texans enter the 5A Region I District 5 contest with a 15-17 record.
