In Tuesday's league outing, the Avoyelles Mustangs (Moreauville, LA) basketball squad beat the visiting Glenmora Wildcats (Glenmora, LA), by a count of 60-40.

The Mustangs (2-8) will now prepare for their outing against Rosepine (Rosepine, LA). The Eagles go into the 2A District 4 outing with a 13-5 record. In their last outing, Rosepine was topped by Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA), 47-41, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now hold a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Homer for a non-league outing on Friday, January 20. Glenmora will clash with a Pelicans squad coming off a 71-65 league loss to Arcadia (Arcadia, LA). The Pelicans record now stands at 4-5.
