    In Tuesday's league outing, the Wilson Area Warriors (Easton, PA) basketball squad nipped the host Bangor Slaters (Bangor, PA), by a margin of 56-52.

    The Warriors (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Notre Dame (East Stroudsburg, PA). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Notre Dame was tipped by Mahanoy Area (Mahanoy City, PA), 55-46, in a non-league outing.

    The Slaters now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Southern Lehigh for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 19. Bangor will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 80-26 league win over Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-4.
