    The Bangor Slaters basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Wilson Area Warriors to 48 in the Slaters league triumph on Thursday.

    The Slaters now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern Lehigh for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Bangor will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-46 league loss to Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-9.

    The Warriors (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Palmerton (Palmerton, PA). The Blue Bombers enter the non-league contest with a 10-0 record. In their last contest, Palmerton nudged Lehighton (Lehighton, PA), 60-35, in a non-league contest.
