Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Clearfield Bison (Clearfield, PA), 43-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Philipsburg-Osceola upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA) to clash with the Bald Eagles in a Mountain bout on Thursday, January 19. The Bald Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Bald Eagle Area lost 56-37 in their recent league bout against Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA)

Next up, the Bison clash with the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) in a Mountain bout, on Friday, January 20. Clearfield will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Golden Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 65-51 league win over Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA).
