Iowa High School Basketball - Starmont ripped by East Buchanan

The East Buchanan Buccaneers basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Starmont Stars to 41 in the Buccaneers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Buccaneers now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Central for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. East Buchanan will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 53-33 league loss to Central (Elkader, IA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-8.
The Stars (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA). The Wildcats enter the Tri-Rivers contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Maquoketa Valley was routed by Alburnett (Alburnett, IA), 60-38, in a league contest.
