North Carolina High School Basketball - East Rowan knocked off by West Rowan

The West Rowan Falcons basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting East Rowan Mustangs to 71 in the Falcons league triumph on Tuesday.

The Falcons now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Rowan for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 18. West Rowan will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 93-46 league loss to Salisbury (Salisbury, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-8.

The Mustangs (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders enter the 3A Conference 48 contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Concord was defeated by West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 68-58, in a league contest.
