Texas High School Basketball - Ozona knocked off by Eldorado

The Eldorado Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Ozona Lions to 37 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 10-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Water Valley for a 2A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, January 20. Eldorado will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 44-36 league loss to Forsan (Forsan, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-10.
The Lions (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Sonora (Sonora, TX). The Broncos enter the 2A Region I District 7 contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Sonora was outscored by Sterling City (Sterling City, TX), 56-45, in a league contest.
