Maine High School Basketball - Fort Kent trounces Van Buren

The Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Van Buren Crusaders (Van Buren, ME), 66-20 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Warriors (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME). The Hawks go into the C North test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Hodgdon was trounced by Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME), 42-38, in a league test.
The Crusaders now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Katahdin for a D North test on Wednesday, January 18. Van Buren will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 63-24 non-league win over East Grand (Dansforth, ME). The Cougars record now stands at 6-4.
