The Van Buren Crusaders basketball team (Van Buren, ME), was overwhelmed 62-25 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME)
The Warriors now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caribou for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 31. Fort Kent will confront a Vikings team coming off a 67-41 league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 9-5.
The Crusaders (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Madawaska (Madawaska, ME). The Owls come into the non-league battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Madawaska was overwhelmed by Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME), 51-44, in a league battle.
