Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Paul Public Charter International Pirates (Washington, DC), 54-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Friendship Collegiate Academy upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Knights travel to Friendship Tech Prep Academy (Washington, DC) to clash with the Titans in a PCSAA AA bout on Thursday, January 19. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Friendship Tech Prep Academy won 68-24 in their recent league bout against Thurgood Marshall Academy (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Parkside Eagles (Washington, DC) in a PCSAA AA bout, on Thursday, January 19. Paul Public Charter International will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 54-27 league win over KIPP College Prep (Washington, DC).
