The Greene County Tech Golden Eagles basketball team (Paragould, AR), was nudged 69-63 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Searcy Lions (Searcy, AR)
The Lions now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley View for a 5A East battle on Friday, January 20. Searcy will confront a Blazers team coming off a 68-38 league loss to West Memphis (West Memphis, AR). The Blazers record now stands at 5-8.
The Golden Eagles (18-4) will now prepare for their battle against Marion (Marion, AR). The Patriots come into the 5A East battle with a 15-5 record. In their last battle, Marion edged Batesville (Batesville, AR), 65-27, in a league battle.
