Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Greene County Tech Golden Eagles (Paragould, AR) and the host Searcy Lions (Searcy, AR), saw Greene County Tech's basketball squad knock off Searcy by a margin of 78-65.

The Golden Eagles (22-7) will now prepare for their test against Marion (Marion, AR). The Patriots go into the 5A East test with a 21-6 record. In their last test, Marion notched a victory over Batesville (Batesville, AR), 60-50, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 15-12 record. They play next when they travel to Valley View for a 5A East test on Friday, February 17. Searcy will encounter a Blazers squad coming off a 50-40 league win over West Memphis (West Memphis, AR). The Blazers record now stands at 8-12.
