The Dragons now possess a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jayton for a 1A Region I District 5 battle on Friday, January 20. Paducah will confront a Jaybirds team coming off a 68-33 league win over Spur (Spur, TX). The Jaybirds record now stands at 17-1.

The Jaguars (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against Motley County (Matador, TX). The Matadors come into the 1A Region I District 5 battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Motley County was toppled by Patton Springs (Afton, TX), 55-22, in a league battle.
