Texas High School Basketball - Guthrie ripped by Paducah

The Paducah Dragons basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Guthrie Jaguars to 34 in the Dragons league triumph on Friday.
The Dragons now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jayton for a 1A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Paducah will battle a Jaybirds team coming off a 57-21 league win over Spur (Spur, TX). The Jaybirds record now stands at 22-1.
The Jaguars (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Motley County (Matador, TX). The Matadors enter the 1A Region I District 5 contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Motley County was routed by Patton Springs (Afton, TX), 62-48, in a league contest.
