Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Iroquois overwhelmed by Mercyhurst Prep

The Iroquois Braves basketball team (Erie, PA), was overwhelmed 71-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA)

The Lakers now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North East for a District 10 Region 3 battle on Friday, January 20. Mercyhurst Prep will battle a Grape Pickers team coming off a 62-57 non-league loss to Fairview (Fairview, PA). The Grape Pickers record now stands at 7-5.

The Braves (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Northwestern (Albion, PA). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 0-10 record. In their last battle, Northwestern was overwhelmed by Girard (Girard, PA), 68-33, in a league battle.
