With the victory, Lumberton upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Colts in a 3A/4A Conference 22 bout on Friday, January 20. The Colts come into the bout with a record of 10-5. Cape Fear won 74-34 in their recent league bout against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC)

Next up, the Rams play the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 22 bout, on Friday, January 20. Purnell Swett will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 74-34 league loss to Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC).
