St. Joseph Wildcats (Hammonton, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ocean City Raiders (Ocean City, NJ), 62-60 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Joseph upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ) to clash with the Spartans in a Cape/Atlantic - National bout on Thursday, January 19. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 4-8.

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Wildwood Catholic Crusaders (North Wildwood, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Ocean City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 84-49 league loss to Egg Harbor Township (Egg Harbor Township, NJ).
