In Wednesday's non-league outing, the St. Joseph Wildcats (Hammonton, NJ) basketball squad edged the visiting Ocean City Raiders (Ocean City, NJ), by a count of 75-74.

The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ). The Panthers come into the Cape/Atlantic - United challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Middle Township nipped South Lakes (Reston, VA), 58-48, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Raiders play the Egg Harbor Township Eagles (Egg Harbor Township, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic - American challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Ocean City will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 68-44 non-league win over Frankford (Philadelphia, PA).
