In Tuesday's league outing, the West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), by a margin of 77-45.
The Dons (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM). The Braves go into the 3A District 2 outing with a 12-5 record. In their last outing, Santa Fe Indian was trounced by Robertson (Las Vegas, NM), 76-55, in a league outing.
The Tigers now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to St. Michael's for a 3A District 2 outing on Friday, January 20. Raton will clash with a Horsemen squad coming off a 64-47 non-league win over Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Horsemen record now stands at 12-4.
